

Fall Creek Falls State Resort Park is one of the most
scenic and spectacular recreation areas in America.
Its waterfalls, cascades, sparkling streams,
timberland, gorges and an unmatched variety of
recreation facilities. Fall Creek Falls is one of the
highest waterfalls east of the Rockies, plunging 256
feet into a shaded pool at the base of its gorge.
There are over 34 miles of hiking trails around the
park. Hikers can opt for short or long walks around
the lake and to and from the base of Fall Creek Falls.
There are two long distance overnight trails for the
more adventuresome. The day-use trails are
designed to accommodate recreational and
educational activities including fitness walking,
leisure walking and easy hiking, or exploring the
Parks' geological features and forest life typical of the
Cumberland Plateau.Three miles of paved bike trails
and 15 miles of moderately difficult mountain bike
trails are offered.
Fall Creek Falls State Park offers a variety of
accommodation options. The park has 228
campsites in three different areas, two group camps
(one accommodating 100, the other accomodating
150), two group lodges, 30 cabins and villas and a
145-guest room Park Inn.
